We have everything we need to build the future we want

A makers guild is a community of creators — from professional artisans to hobbyists — who share resources, knowledge, and support for mutual benefit.

The Point Roberts Makers Guild is a non-profit community group seeking to promote handcraft, art, and other locally designed and/or produced goods, as well as uplift the makers who live and work here. While this is not a new idea in the community, it has been revived due to the opportunity to operate at 5 Mile Sq Studio on Gulf Rd.

We will explore the possibilities of what this space can become and connect with others who are passionate about building our cultural economy.

We are a fiscally-sponsored project of Resilient Point Roberts.

Become a volunteer

We are looking for volunteers both both one-off opportunities as well as long-term participation for specific projects. We aim to cultivate a community of people who understand the power of building the cultural economy and want to spend their time building a thriving community in Point Roberts.
