First Artist Show: Featuring the work of Sarah Rosner
We have been looking forward to this one.
When we imagined what the Makers Guild could be for this community, a free rotating art showcase was part of that picture from the very beginning; a reason to come in, slow down, and experience something beautiful. We are so happy to tell you it starts this month.
Our first featured artist is Sarah Rosner, a young Canadian artist working in charcoal and acrylic. Her work moves between sweeping natural landscapes and intimate portraits, finding emotion in prairie sunsets, open skies, and the quiet expressions of people and animals. She has a gift for detail and contrast, and the kind of work that rewards you for taking a moment to really look.
The show will run August 15 through September 13 during regular store hours.
We would love for you to join us for the opening reception on Friday, August 15th at 1pm. Come see the work, raise a glass with us, and help us celebrate the beginning of what we hope will be a long tradition of bringing regional artists to the Point.
All are welcome. We hope to see you there.
